Alpine pasture and summit tour on the Faistenauer Schafberg and the Loibersbacher Höhe

This leisurely hike is a little insider tip among the hikes in Salzburg because the view of the Osterhorn group is an absolute dream.

The starting point of this hike is the Döllerer car park behind the Zenzenbauer and the Döllererbauern in the Schönau - Tiefbrunnau district. From here, a signposted forest road leads past the Mittereggalm to the Oberwiesalmen. There you can follow the path to the right to the Loibersbacher Höhe, or to the left to the summit of the Faistenauer Schafberg. The most beautiful hike is to both summits. The same path that was used for the ascent leads back to the starting point, the Döllerer car park.
