Themed hike on the Joseph Mohr Memorial Trail

A cultural highlight and a varied mini-hike is the Joseph Mohr Memorial Trail. Opened in summer 2018, the 1.2-kilometre circular trail leads past six stations where various works of art inspire reflection and experience.

The starting point of the hike is the car park at the Hintersee community centre. From here, the path leads across the car park, past the house and after about 30 metres, turn left into the road. The path continues along the road and after about 400 metres you reach the Joseph Mohr Memorial Chapel. There the path leaves to the left, crosses a bridge and after about 100 metres you arrive at the next station. At the road by the large stone guitar, turn right and walk back along the road to Hintersee. When you reach the village square, turn right and walk back to your car.
