Hike to the Regenspitz
Exciting hike over ridge, alpine pastures & Co.
This hike in Salzburger Land is a particularly varied circular hike. A wonderful ridge, a rustic alpine pasture and a great panorama await you here. But beware: surefootedness is required and good hiking boots are essential.
The hike starts at the hikers' car parking lot in Hintersee. From here, follow the "Wald-Wasser-Zauberweg" trail and walk past the chapel to the bridge. Here the trail turns right onto a small hiking trail, parallel to the stream, which gradually widens and leads to a bridge with the sign "Regenspitz/Feichtensteinalm". After crossing this bridge, follow the forest path into the forest and stay on the main path until you reach an open area. Please ignore any forks and only follow the forest path. The trail continues past the Feichtensteinalm over a narrow ridge or crest, to a few easy rock steps before you reach the Regenspitz. For the descent, you have the choice between the same path of the ascent or a short circular hike. For the circular hike, follow the small steep path from the summit in a westerly direction down to the Bergalm. There you turn right onto the cart track heading north until you reach a forest road that leads downhill to a crossroads. Here you follow the signs back to Hintersee.
