From Hintersee to the Bergalm and Regenspitz Cross

A slightly longer hike that rewards with a dreamlike panorama and, depending on the descent, holds some exciting moments - the perfect hike for skilled pleasure hikers in the province of Salzburg.

The starting point is the Hintersee hikers' car parking lot. From here, follow the access road to the Mühlbauer, then continue along the "Wasserwunder Tiefenbach" theme trail. At the intersection with the road, follow the path straight on steadily upwards to the alpine pasture and the Bergalm. Here you will find the first opportunity to stop for refreshments. Continue along the signposted path to the Regenspitz at 1675 m. A fantastic 360° view awaits you here. A fantastic 360° view of the surrounding mountains await you here. The descent then follows either the ascent or down to the Feichtensteinalm. This trail leads over partly exposed areas secured with steel ropes. From the Feichtensteinalm, where you can stop for refreshments, a forest road leads back to the starting point in Hintersee.
